Iran: Israel Interests Meets Syrian Crisis

TEHRAN - Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast Iran denounced the double standard of Western policy toward Syria. He also mentioned that what is currently happening in Syria is a case that meets the interests of Israel.
"What happened in Syria, is wanted by Israel because of the events that benefit Israel," said Mehmanparast, as quoted by SANA, Wednesday (02/22/2012).
Mehmanparast emphasized that Western countries do not try to solve the problems which occur in Syria. West is only trying to meet its national interests through the Syrian crisis.
"If indeed they want to resolve the crisis of Syria, they should establish a conducive situation to the internal dialogue and assist the reform process of Syria," he added.
Iran even explains, when political instability in Syria continues, conditions in the Middle East will also experience the same thing. Iran is a country that refuses any intervention against Syria.
According to an Iranian diplomatic officials, the majority of Syrians are still loyal and supportive of President Bashar al Assad. Although many Arab and Western countries as well as some opposition parties in Syria urged Assad to step down from office.
