Al-Qaeda commander Caught in Egypt

CAIRO - Al Qaeda commander Saif al-Adel reportedly arrested at Cairo airport, Egypt. The man known as the most wanted terrorist fugitives by the Government of the United States (U.S.).

Men are rewarded $ 5 million or approximately Rp45, 3 billion (Rp9.070 per USD) for any of this information, was arrested after he arrived in Cairo after traveling from Pakistan. Previously he had stopped in Dubai.

Egyptians whose real name is Muhammad Ibrahim Makkawi, had become head of security of Osama Bin Laden. He was several times had led the military operations of Al Qaeda. So reported the BBC on Wednesday (02/29/2012).

Al-Adel targeted by the U.S. for his involvement in the bombings of the U.S. Embassy in East Africa in 1998 and then. In the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan 2001, Saif al-Adel is believed to fly to Iran with the son of Bin Laden, Saad bin Laden.

During their stay in Iran, both under house arrest. Iran reportedly has never acknowledged the existence of both.
